This summer, our Isle of Man team returned as headline sponsor of the Royal Manx Agricultural Show, one of the Island's most established and well-attended community events. For generations, the Royal Show has brought together local businesses, charities, producers and families, creating connections across the Island.
Part of the Community
Across the two-day event, thousands of visitors passed through Conister Bank’s ‘Purple Pavilion’, giving us the opportunity to connect with customers, local organisations and members of the wider community.
While the way people bank continues to change, strong communities still depend on genuine relationships. That's why supporting local events remains an important part of our approach. Whether through sponsorship, partnerships or volunteering, we're committed to supporting the causes that matter locally.
The Royal Manx Agricultural Show is a powerful example of what community looks like in practice, with people coming together to support local causes, celebrate local achievement and spend time with one another.
Supporting Mental Wellbeing
A key part of this year's event was our continued partnership with Isle Listen, the Isle of Man's dedicated charity supporting young people's mental wellbeing.
Conister has worked alongside Isle Listen for a number of years, supporting initiatives that raise awareness and highlight the charity's ongoing work. The Royal Show gave us another opportunity to strengthen that partnership with an engaging family-friendly challenge, 'Mini Mucka'.
The Mini Mucka obstacle course, a nod to September's 'Tough Mucka' event, offered visitors an opportunity to test their skills and work together to complete the challenge. It brought plenty of energy to the showground while keeping community wellbeing in focus.
